Two Directors to serve as President of the Bar Association and Bar Foundation

West Chester, PA, April 4, 2011 - The law firm of MacElree Harvey is pleased to announce that Lance J. Nelson and Brian L. Nagle, both Directors with the firm, have been elected to leadership positions with the Chester County Bar.

Lance J. Nelson, Managing Partner for the firm and member of the firm's Litigation department, will serve as the 2011 President of the Chester County Bar Association. Lance has been active in the leadership of the organization for more than four years and formerly served as chairman of the Young Lawyers division. Lance?s mission for 2011 is to bring financial stability to the organization so it can continue to fund programs for local schools (such as the mock trial competition), offer lawyer referral services, and contribute to the provision of pro bono legal services.

Lance will be working closely with his MacElree Harvey colleague Brian L. Nagle, who was elected President of the Chester County Bar Foundation. A Director of the firm and member of the Land Use department, Brian will lead the charitable arm of the organization, which provides funding and programs to schools and individual students. In addition, the Foundation provides grants and other support to local non-profit organizations such as the Domestic Violence Center of Chester County, the Crime Victims Center, and Legal Aid of Southeastern Pennsylvania. Brian's top priorities include increasing the ability of the Foundation to perform its charitable work by increasing awareness of the Foundation and expanding its resources.

Both attorneys are pleased to assume leadership positions for an organization that supports both the law profession and the residents of Chester County.
