John F. McKenna Elected to Lead Chester County Art Association
Local cultural organization elects MacElree Harvey attorney as President.

The Chester County Art Association's Board of Directors has elected MacElree Harvey attorney John F. McKenna as President. McKenna has been an active member of the board since 2001 and most recently served as Vice President.

The Art Association promotes participation in the arts through quality instruction, exhibitions and community outreach. Since its inception in 1931, the Art Association has involved people of all ages and aspirations in its initiatives. McKenna explains, "I appreciate art not only for its beauty and ability to communicate ideas, but also for the energy it infuses in both the creator and the viewer. The role of an association is to be a conduit for creation and to make art available to everyone. Now that we have undertaken a campaign to fund the building of a new facility on our present site, we have quite a task that will put all of our collective skills to the test. I am honored to lead an organization responsible for bringing opportunity and experience to county residents."

In addition to his work with the Art Association, McKenna is a member of The First National Bank of Chester County's Wealth Advisory Board, Pro Bono Committee Chair of the Chester County Bar Association, Foundation Chair of the West Goshen Lions Club, Vice President of Community Impact Legal Services, Treasurer of the John E. Stiveley American Inn of Court, and member of the House of Delegates of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and Board Member of Legal Aid of Southeastern Pennsylvania.
