Michael A. Friedberg Elected President-Elect of Rotary Club of Wilmington

The Rotary Club of Wilmington has announced its slate of 2008 directors, which includes MacElree Harvey attorney Michael A. Friedberg as President-Elect Nominee for the 2009-2010 Rotary Year. Friedberg has been a member of the Rotary Club for 28 years and has served the organization in numerous capacities.

The Rotary Club of Wilmington is a service-oriented organization that brings business and professional leaders together to participate in humanitarian service projects for the larger community. Friedberg explains why his membership has spanned nearly three decades, "The Rotary Club takes the collective experience, talents and good will of local business members and directs them to projects, initiatives, and leadership opportunities aimed at making things better for the community. The organization continues to stimulate me to give back, and each year I learn and do more. The individual rewards are as great as the collective ones."

In addition to his work with the Rotary Club, Friedberg serves as President of the Delaware Estate Planning Council, will Chair of the Past President's Committee of the Delaware Estate Planning Council, is Past Chairman and a member of the Trusts and Estates section and the Tax section of the Delaware Bar Association, is a board member of the Delaware chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and is a member of the Wilmington Tax Group.
