Attorney Leo M. Gibbons of the MacElree Harvey law firm received a Pro Bono Award from the Pennsylvania Bar Association. "On behalf of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, it gives me great pleasure to advise you that you have been selected to receive a PBA Pro Bono Award for your work in providing legal services to the neediest among us," Michael H. Reed, President of the PBA, wrote to Gibbons. "You have gone above and beyond the call of duty, and it is only fitting that your accomplishments be recognized and celebrated." The Pro Bono award was presented last month at the 4th Annual PBA Pro Bono Conference in Pittsburgh. Also, Gibbons recently won a Pro Bono award from Legal Aid of Southeastern Pennsylvania. "Leo has done an outstanding job in providing expert legal service to those who need representation," said Lance J. Nelson, Managing Partner of MacElree. "Leo, as does every attorney in our firm, takes our responsibility to serve the public seriously." Gibbons practices in the areas of commercial litigation, creditor's rights and bankruptcy, collection matters and loan workouts. He attended the University of Pittsburgh, receiving his Bachelor's Degree in 1989 and his law degree in 1992. |
