MacElree Harvey Attorney Louis N. Teti Named to List of Super Lawyers.
Louis N. Teti, a partner in the MacElree Harvey law firm, was named to Philadelphia Magazine's list of Super Lawyers in Pennsylvania.

"Lou has an outstanding record of service to the legal profession and also to his community," said Lance J. Nelson, Managing Partner of MacElree Harvey. "He deserves to be recognized for his years of expert service to his clients, the legal profession and the public."

The June issue of Philadelphia Magazine noted the selection process involved the mailing of more than 36,000 ballots to Pennsylvania lawyers with at least five years of service. The magazine said only five percent of attorneys made the list.

Lou was selected in the estate planning and trusts section.

Lou is chairman of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court's Disciplinary Board, the most influential and powerful professional oversight board in Pennsylvania. He is a past president of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, and is a former member of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court Committee to Study Racial and Gender Bias in the Courts. Lou is a past president of the Chester County Bar Association, and a Life Fellow of the American Bar Foundation and the Pennsylvania Bar Foundation.

Also, he has served on a number of different boards of directors of businesses and non-profit organizations, including the Paoli Hospital Foundation. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association Judicial Evaluation Commission and is also president of the Saints Philip & James Home & School Association. He is a past president of the Central Chester County Chamber of Commerce, the Chester County Estate Planning Council, the Rotary Club of Central Chester County, and the Rotary Club of Exton-Frazer.

A graduate of Dickinson College (B.A.), and Temple University School of Law (J.D.; LL.M., Taxation), Lou is a frequent lecturer for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute in the areas of estate planning, tax planning and estate administration, and he is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel. He resides in Downingtown with his wife, Joann, and their sons, Jeffrey and Ryan.
