Louis N. Teti Elected Chair of the Paoli Hospital Foundation

Louis N. Teti tapped to lead organization during time of significant growth.

Louis N. Teti, partner with MacElree Harvey, has been elected Chair of the Paoli Hospital Foundation's Board of Trustees. Active with Paoli Hospital for nearly twenty years, Mr. Teti has served as Chair of the Annual Campaign, Co-Chair of the Planned Giving Committee, and has been an active board member.

With a $16.5 million campaign underway to fund a portion of the new Patient Care Pavilion set to open in 2009, Mr. Teti and the PH Foundation Board will be actively tracking the fundraising and construction progress. The new facility will almost double the size of the hospital's footprint, adding much needed surgical space, emergency rooms and private patient rooms.

Mr. Teti explains his long commitment to Paoli Hospital, "I believe that it is critical for all of us to give back to our communities. The hospital is an excellent place to volunteer. It is there for all of us when we need help the most, and PH provides outstanding medical care, from the doctors, the nurses, and the administrative staff. Everyone associated with the hospital is a caring, competent, and well-qualified person. I am proud to be associated with such a fine group of professionals, who are regularly recognized for their level of care and competence."

At MacElree Harvey, Mr. Teti concentrates his practice in the areas of Estate Planning and Administration, Business Succession Planning, Real Estate, Taxation and Mediation. Mr. Teti received his Undergraduate Degree from Dickinson College and his Juris Doctor and LLM in Taxation Degrees from Temple University School of Law.

In addition to his work with the Paoli Hospital Foundation, Mr. Teti is on the Board of Trustees of Malvern Preparatory School, the Chester County Community Foundation (serving as Vice Chair) and the Chester County Advisory Board of Eagle National Bank. Mr. Teti is Past President of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Chester County Bar Association, past Chair of the Disciplinary Board of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, and is a Life Fellow of the American and Pennsylvania Bar Foundations. He is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel.

Mr. Teti and his wife, Joann, reside in Downingtown with their twin sons, Jeffrey and Ryan.
