Recently, attorney Mary Ann Plankinton participated in a two day program entitled Introduction to Adult Guardianship Mediation sponsored by the Delaware Court of Chancery and the Delaware State Bar Association.

Mary Ann, who is familiar with adult guardianship law and practice in Delaware and Chester County will now provide mediation services for clients and other attorneys involved in pending guardianship cases. Offering mediation as an alternative or first step before litigation may assist families involved in a guardianship matter to avoid a costly and emotional trial. Mediation allows all interested parties to participate and represent their interests in a non confrontational manner.
