The expansion includes two projects – the addition of a new five-story facility fronting Market Street and the renovation of the firm's original West Miner Street headquarters, a former stable dating to the mid-19 th century. "This is a fabulous new facility for our clients and our staff, says Lance J. Nelson, managing partner of MacElree Harvey. "As MacElree Harvey continues to grow, we need the extra space. Construction on the Market Street building was completed mid-April and renovations at 17 West Miner Street were completed in late 2005. The original West Miner Street entrance was reopened in November 2005. The new Market Street facility adds 13,500 square feet of office space, with 2,700 square feet on each of its five floors. Coupled with 11,600 square feet occupied in the original building, the combined space now features more than 25,000 square feet. MacElree Harvey currently occupies 17,000 square feet and is renting out the extra space. Several tenants, including the Chester County Visitors Bureau, have already moved in. Individual offices are available for rent on the third floor and the entire fifth floor is open. In addition to the expanded West Chester location, the firm has an office in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania. |
