MacElree Harvey attorney Mary Ann Plankinton has been elected Secretary of the Centreville, DE Civic Association. She will serve a one–year term.

The organization functions to encourage and promote civic improvements and community welfare. This year, the board is focusing its support on a $3.7 million landscape and traffic improvement project for the Centreville corridor scheduled to begin in August, along with funding for Canby Park and the Citizens Watch program.

Mary Ann practices family law in both Pennsylvania and Delaware and has offices in the firm’s Centreville, DE and Kennett Square, PA locations. As a member of the Pennsylvania Council of Mediators and the Delaware ADR Committee, Mary Ann is able to provide alternative dispute resolution and mediation as an option for client matters. The Delaware Family Courts have appointed Mary Ann as a guardian ad litem.
