Centreville Office Supports ART LOOP

The Centreville office of MacElree Harvey is pleased to support Wilmington's ART LOOP, a monthly exhibition of multi-disciplinary artwork. Our offices will display the work of local Chester County painter Janeice Silberman. Everyone is welcome to attend the opening night reception on Friday, December 5th from 5:30-8:00 p.m. Reservations are not required.

Pastoral Landscape

Janeice Silberman was originally from the Midwest and later New York. She was first a residential and contract designer, very involved in color, space and structure. She has worked as a design editor for a national publication based in New York. While in New York, she studied at the Art Student's League. After moving to Chester County, she started painting in 1992 with the late Rea Redifer and then with Jon Redmond as well as other regional artists.

The characteristics of her early life as a designer flood onto the canvases and panels that she paints. Color is her forte. Subjects vary from realism in landscapes and figures to soft abstract works reminiscent of landscapes and florals. She loves working in all sizes, mostly in oil. During the holidays, she offers a number of smaller pieces that make wonderful gifts.
