Ashley is a partner in the West Chester office and a member of the firm’s Family Law Practice Group. Ashley’s practice focuses on all aspects of family law matters in Pennsylvania and Delaware, including divorce, alimony/spousal support, equitable distribution and property division, marital agreements, child support and child custody. From custody disputes and support issues to complex divorce and property division, Ashley takes a direct, personal approach to resolving each client’s family law concerns. Ashley has represented numerous high net worth clients in divorce proceedings, including representations involving business valuation and employee stock ownership plans.

Ashley also focuses her practice in corporate bankruptcy representing clients in bankruptcy and creditor rights law. Ashley has significant experience representing creditors in adversary proceedings, claim administration proceedings and other contested matters. Ashley also has experience representing debtors, statutory committees, trustees, secured creditors and asset purchasers in all aspects of reorganization and liquidation cases.

Ashley is licensed to practice law both in Pennsylvania and Delaware. Ashley has received an “AV Preeminent” rating from Martindale-Hubbell, the highest level of professional excellence and ethical standards an attorney can receive from the national attorney peer review rating service. This rating indicates that an attorney’s colleagues and the judiciary perceive her to be at the pinnacle of professional success.

Ashley is a member of the American Bar Association, the Federal Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the Delaware State Bar Association, the Chester County Bar Association, the Doris Jonas Freed Matrimonial American Inn of Court, the Melson Arsht American Inn of Court, the International Women’s Insolvency and Restructuring Confederation and the Transportation Lawyers Association.

Active in the community, Ashley serves as a volunteer attorney at the Office of the Child Advocate, a state agency charged with safeguarding the welfare of Delaware’s children, and Delaware Volunteer Legal Services, Inc., established to provide quality pro bono legal services to low-income Delawareans with meritorious civil legal problems. Ashley is a Board member and Social Co-Chair for the International Women’s Insolvency and Restructuring Confederation Delaware Network.
