For more than 150 years, West Chester Public Library has served the West Chester community, providing access to books, educational resources, technology, programming, and opportunities for people to connect.
Located at the corner of North Church and Lafayette Streets in the heart of the Borough, the library serves community members of all ages. Its programming includes Storytimes, Summer Reading, book clubs, trivia, chess, mahjong, educational programs, special events, and America 250 programming.
With MacElree Harvey’s own West Chester roots dating back to the firm’s founding in 1880, supporting the library is especially meaningful to us.
Supporting a West Chester Institution
MacElree Harvey is proud to support West Chester Public Library as a Library Hero sponsor, helping the library continue to provide resources, programs, and services to the community.
Both organizations have a long history in West Chester. As the Borough has grown and changed over the years, the library has remained an important community resource where residents can learn, gather, and participate in programs and activities throughout the year.
MacElree Harvey also serves as a lead sponsor of the annual West Chester Public Library Holiday Home Tour, one of the library’s signature community events.
Held on the first Saturday in December, the Holiday Home Tour showcases seven residential homes throughout the Borough, along with three special attractions, all decorated for the holiday season.
The event offers an opportunity to explore West Chester’s homes and architecture, enjoy the Borough during the holiday season, and support the library and its programs.
