Coleman (Cole) Thomas is an attorney in MacElree Harvey’s Civil Litigation Department, where he assists clients with a wide range of personal injury and other civil litigation matters.
As a Chester County native, Cole grew up in Chester Springs and has returned to the area to begin his legal career. Cole earned his Bachelor of Arts in Business, Organizations & Society (BOS) from Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Cole earned his Juris Doctorate from Vermont Law and Graduate School in South Royalton, Vermont in May 2024 and earned his Master of Laws (LLM) in Energy Law with distinction from Vermont Law and Graduate School in May 2025.
During law school, Cole served on the Vermont Law Review and appeared on the Dean’s List multiple times. Cole gained valuable experience at the Berks County District Attorney’s Office, Mullaney & Mullaney, and Cohen, Placitella & Roth, where he expanded his understanding and knowledge of both the criminal and civil sectors. After graduating, Cole decided to gain greater insight into an ever-growing problem by pursuing an LLM in Energy Law degree. While earning his LLM degree, Cole completed an internship for the National Mining Association, won the Academic Excellence Award in Energy Regulation, and had his energy-related article published in the Vermont Law Review Volume 49.
