I’ve been working with Michael Louis on several cases that involve our family business. Mr. Louis has taken the time to not only get familiar with our type of business but to also get familiar with us as people. Mr. Louis is prepared when we enter the courtroom, professional as we face the judge, and as excited as we are when we emerge with a verdict in our favor. Patrick was great! We hired him after consulting two other attorneys. We had a situation complicated by Delaware law requiring us to post ads in South Korean newspapers regarding custody and offer proof to the court. The law was unclear about how to go about this, but Patrick guided us through the process and the court ruled in our favor. The adoption went through with no hassle on January 25th and our family is thrilled to now be legal under the same family name. We originally attempted to do this ourselves which turned out not to be a very good idea, way more complicated than we thought. Patrick was able to undo our mistakes and get us on the right path. I was in a pickle for sure! I was fighting my 2nd DUI with in 10 years. So I was definitely out of luck for trying something and basically just taking the punishment of what the system could give me. At the start, we were just trying to keep the damage to a minimum. I had come to the acceptance of what I was supposed to receive. However, unlike other Lawyers, Caroline looked into what it looked like 2 or 3 more times at my case where it should have been just a quick dollar she could make on a simple case.
