Natalie R. Young is a highly skilled and experienced attorney with a focus on construction defect litigation, real estate, and land use matters. With a proven track record of managing complex litigation, she has successfully managed the defense of an $80 million construction defect claim and negotiated substantial settlements for homeowner clients. Natalie has second-chaired several construction defect arbitrations and has argued cases before various courts, including the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, New Jersey Superior Court, and multiple Zoning Hearing Boards.

Before joining MacElree Harvey, Natalie was an associate at a boutique real estate firm, where she handled over twenty litigation and land use cases, providing strategic counsel on construction, real estate, and zoning disputes. She also supervised junior associates and staff, ensuring high-quality service and client representation.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Natalie serves as Vice President on the Council for the Borough of Chester Heights, Pennsylvania, and previously served on zoning boards for Chester Heights and the Borough of Morton. Licensed in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, she is an active member of the legal community, with admissions to various courts, including the U.S. Supreme Court. Outside of work, Natalie enjoys vacationing in Ocean City, New Jersey, and is an avid fan of baseball, soccer, and hockey.

  • Lead attorney on over twenty litigation and land use matters, managing day-to-day activities of multiple other litigation cases.
  • Managed the defense of a large-scale construction defect litigation claim against a general contractor, with damages exceeding $80 million.
  • Negotiated two pre-litigation settlements for homeowner clients, each exceeding $120,000.
  • Second-chaired multiple construction defect litigations before private arbitration panels.
  • Represented clients in hearings and arguments before multiple Courts of Common Pleas, including Chester, Montgomery, Delaware, Monroe, and Philadelphia Counties, as well as the Municipal Court of Philadelphia and the Superior Courts of New Jersey.
  • Handled zoning, land use, and real estate litigation matters for commercial developers, contractors, and subcontractors.
  • Represented clients in a variety of disputes, including breach of contract, consumer fraud, mechanics’ liens, partnership disputes, and zoning matters.
  • Prepared and argued applications before zoning boards and planning commissions across Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
  • Served as second-chair in multiple construction defect arbitrations, including witness questioning.

Robert is Land Use, Zoning, and Litigation attorney in MacElree Harvey’s West Chester office. Before joining MacElree Harvey, Bob practiced with a Montgomery County firm where he represented both businesses and individuals in land use and zoning matters. 

As a Zoning attorney, Bob has experience representing clients before municipal boards of supervisors/commissioners, planning commissions, and zoning hearing boards. Bob has successfully prosecuted and defended land use appeals in counties throughout the Commonwealth.

Matthew has a passion for assisting clients navigate a range of issues concerning land use, zoning, and other real property matters and has been repeatedly recognized in Main Line Today’s “Best Lawyers” list, Super Lawyers, and The Best Lawyers in America.

Prior to joining MacElree Harvey, Matthew worked as a Judicial Clerk with the Honorable Rochelle S. Friedman, Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania in Doylestown, PA, where his work on numerous zoning appeals sparked his interest in his practice areas.

Matthew earned his J.D. from Syracuse University College of Law and his B.A. in both Political Science and History from the University of Vermont.

Lindsay is an attorney at MacElree Harvey, Ltd. in the firm’s Land Use Department. Her practice concentrates on land use, zoning, construction litigation, mechanics’ liens, and landlord-tenant matters. Before joining MacElree Harvey, Lindsay practiced with a Malvern based firm where she represented a diverse clientele in the Courts of Common Pleas of Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia Counties. In addition to having served municipal clients, Lindsay has considerable experience representing contractors, businesses, and individuals.

Prior to entering private practice, Lindsay clerked for two years for the Honorable Ronald C. Nagle of the Chester County Court of Common Pleas. During her clerkship, she worked on various complex civil litigation matters including land use and zoning appeals.

Lindsay attended law school at the Pennsylvania State Dickinson School of Law where she concentrated her coursework in land use and construction litigation. During her third year of law school, she served as an Associate Editor of the Journal of International Law. Lindsay completed her undergraduate education at the College of William and Mary, achieving a B.A. in Government.

  • Successfully defended a private property owner from a mechanics’ lien on
    property in East Bradford Township.
  • Successfully defended in the Superior Court of Pennsylvania the appeal of an award, including interest, penalties, and attorneys’ fees, under Pennsylvania’s
    Contractor and Subcontractor Payment Act.
